I recently started to develop a passion for bird photography. These winged creatures inspire a melancholic feeling in me. Their elegance, their often tiny bodies flying across the strongest of winds, literally breathing through their whole body to be able to to sustain the exhaustion of defeating gravity against all odds. And yet their vulnerability against climate change, against the heating up the very air they travel, the relentless increase in wind surge affecting the very airways that guide them and deliver them where seasons and nature urge them to be. The loss of healthy habitats, forests and meadows, worthy of their chants. Yes, their beautiful and enchanting songs, filling our world with melodic sounds, as a living background music to our otherwise cemented days. I am grateful for birds. I wish to show you their beauty with the same intensity I feel it through my eyes and heart.
